Because the ferrule is cushion-shaped, thrust ball bearings are divided into 2 types: flat base cushion type and self-aligning spherical cushion type. In addition, this kind of bearing can bear axial load, but cannot bear radial load.

Composition of thrust ball bearings: Thrust ball bearings are composed of 3 parts: seat ring, shaft ring, and steel ball cage assembly. The shaft ring matched with the shaft is called the seat ring matched with the shell.

Thrust ball bearing Type:
According to the force situation, it can be divided into one-way thrust ball bearing and two-way thrust ball bearing. One-way thrust ball bearings can bear a one-way axial load. Two-way thrust ball bearings can withstand two-way axial loads, in which the shaft ring is matched with the shaft. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
 

Thrust ball bearings are produced as single

direction or double direction thrust ball

bearings. They are designed to

accommodate axial loads only and must

not be subjected to any radial load.
 

Thrust ball bearings are separable, the

shaft washer, housing washer(s), ball and

cage assembly(s) can be mounted

separately. Shaft washers have a ground

bore to enable an interference fit. The bore

of the housing washer is turned and always

larger than the shaft washer bore.
 

PRODUCT DETAILS 
 

Single direction thrust ball bearings:

consist of 2 washers with raceways and

balls guided b a cage. Washers have flat

seating surfaces, and that is why they must

be supported so that all balls can be evenly

loaded. Bearings carry the axial load only

in 1 direction. They are not CZPT to carry

radial forces. 
 

 

Double direction thrust ball bearings:

have 2 cages with balls between the

central shaft washer and 2 houding

washers with flat seating surfaces. The

shaft washer has raceways on both sides

and is fixed on the journal. Bearings are

CZPT to carry only axial forces in both

directions.

Thrust ball bearings generally consist of 2 or more thrust washers and several rolling elements. The thrust washers are typically divided into shaft washers and seat washers, and the rolling elements are typically held together by a steel or copper cage.
There are 2 types: one-way and two-way. The former can withstand unidirectional axial loads, while the latter can withstand bidirectional axial loads. However, both types are not suitable for radial loads or high-speed rotation.
