Product Description

The thrust ball bearing is designed to withstand thrust load at high speed and is composed of gasket – like ring with ball rolling raceway groove. Because of the cushion shape of the ring, the thrust ball bearing is divided into 2 types: flat base cushion type and aligning spherical cushion type. In addition, the bearing can bear axial loads, but not radial loads.

 

Types:

According to the force, one-way thrust ball bearings and two-way thrust ball bearings are divided. Unidirectional thrust ball bearing can withstand unidirectional axial load. Bidirectional thrust ball bearing can bear bidirectional axial load, wherein the shaft ring is matched with the shaft. The mounting surface of the seat ring is spherical bearing, with aligning performance, which can reduce the influence of installation error. Thrust ball bearing can not bear radial load, limit speed is low.

Thrust ball bearings, composed of ball bearings supported in a ring, can be used in low thrust applications where there is little axial load.

Thrust ball bearings are produced as single direction or double direction thrust ball bearings. They are designed to accommodate axial loads only and must not be subjected to any radial load.

Thrust ball bearings are separable, i.e. the shaft washer, housing washer(s), ball and cage assembly(s) can be mounted separately. Shaft washers have a ground bore to enable an interference fit. The bore of the housing washer is turned and always larger than the shaft washer bore.
